VM, VR and CR Round Balers

Talking to operators like you, we know three things. Dense, well-shaped bales is a must. Add to that, more power coupled with multi-crop capabilities, fast bale ejection, and an innovative bale wrapping system. They're the starting point for efficiency and productivity.

Baler Automation

These systems alone are powerful, but together they create a smarter, more automated baling experience.

See Baler Automation in Action

  • Gate Automation

Gate Automation automatically opens and closes the baler gate, streamlining the bale ejection process for faster, more efficient operation. By eliminating the need for manual gate control, the system helps reduce cycle times between bales and minimizes operator effort, which can lead to a more consistent baling process and better-quality bales.

  • Speed Automation

Speed Automation optimizes ground speed by stopping the tractor before the bale wrapping process begins, based on a set bale size. The operator then resumes forward motion of the tractor after ejection. Designed to improve bale consistency and reduce labor requirements, Speed Automation combines intelligent controls and sensors to help streamline operations and maximize productivity.

  • Weave Automation

Weave Automation, available on select round balers, is an automated hitch system for your baler that provides a +38-degree side-to-side swivel for enhanced bale feeding. This provides more even filling for more consistent, better quality, square-shouldered bales. In addition, it supports operator comfort because it helps reduce the number of manual adjustments.

  • AutoTrac™ Guidance

Tested and proven by generations of farmers, AutoTrac enables automatic steering. That improves pass-to-pass consistency and reduces overlaps and skips, helping you optimize inputs over more ground. And because it enables hands-free steering, it can make long hours in the cab seem shorter, even for less experienced operators.

Each baler automation feature can be used independently or together, providing flexibility to work your way. But by combining the systems with AutoTrac, you can move closer to a hands-free baling1 experience in cornstalks and wheat straw, supporting fewer manual adjustments.

1Hands-free baling refers to hands-free automation of the baling process, including steering and weaving over windrows for even bales, stopping the tractor at the desired bale size, and wrapping and ejecting bales. Operator intervention is required for other tasks, including but not limited to starting the tractor, establishing baling speed, resuming forward motion after bales are ejected, recognizing hazards, and responding to changing field conditions. Refer to the operator's manual for additional information.
