Calling all heritage tractor owners and fans! The John Deere Pavilion will present the Quad Cities Area Heritage Tractor Parade and Show on Saturday, Sep. 9, 2017 from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. The event will feature a variety of antique tractors and equipment as well as blacksmith demonstrations. All brands, models and colours of tractors are welcome to participate in this event and registrations are now being accepted. Participation is free! The only requirement is that equipment entered must be from 1970 or earlier. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the John Deere Pavilion, all participants registering a tractor for the parade and show will receive a commemorative token, hand-forged by a John Deere Historic Site blacksmith. For extra excitement, test your skills in our state-of-the-art simulators. Customers train in these before tackling the dirt on the jobsite.
The Pavilion offers tours specially formed for daycares and school groups of all ages. For an extra fun and educational component, choose between our Scavenger Hunt, Farm to Table, or History of John Deere and the State of Illinois tour programs. As with any tour at our Attractions, it’s free!

The Discovery Zone includes eight exhibits offering a variety of hands-on learning activities and interactive technology for all ages. It encourages children to explore the world around us and use their creativity to learn.
