John Deere Increases Production of Forestry Equipment at John Deere Specialty Products Facility in Langley, B.C.
- John Deere expands tracked harvester and buncher production to the John Deere Specialty Products facility in Langley, British Columbia.
- The production of the 900-Series machines will begin late 2024, followed by the 800-Series models in early Spring 2025.
- The increase in production will bring a variety of new job opportunities to the Langley facility in Canada.
MOLINE, IL (November 19, 2024) – Today, John Deere announced the expansion of its forestry equipment production at its John Deere Specialty Products facility located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Manufacturing of the 900-Series models will start later this year, followed by the 800-Series models in early Spring 2025. The John Deere Specialty Products facility will serve as the center of excellence for manufacturing purpose-built tracked forestry equipment. This increase in production will enhance services provided by John Deere to both North American and global customers and strategically position tracked harvesters and feller bunchers in a key forestry region.

The John Deere Specialty Products production facility currently employs 100 employees and produces tracked processors, road builders, and tracked log loaders for the global market. The business has been operating since 1998 and continues to positively impact its local communities and John Deere customers around the world.
