TEST RESULTS
Proven Yield Improvement
Could you use a 2-bu/acre yield increase at harvest? Then consider using See & Spray. We recently sponsored research to evaluate the crop health and yield benefits of applying herbicides using See & Spray in soybeans. Using third-party researchers and universities, trials were conducted in seven states. On average, the use of targeted herbicide applications with See & Spray resulted in a yield increase of +2.0 bu/A (+131 kg/ha) when compared with traditional broadcast applications.3

VARIABLE RATE
Prescription-Level Outcomes in Near-Real Time
See & Spray machines can measure living biomass to vary the application rate based on rate and biomass thresholds that you set. This allows for increased productivity through potential product savings and less time creating prescriptions. Ensure the right product is applied, at the right rate, and at the right time with See & Spray Variable Rate.

24-HOUR TARGETED APPLICATION
Full Boom Lighting
See & Spray Gen 2 systems can be equipped with full boom lighting to allow for 24-hour targeted application in fallow fields, enabling you to meet tight application windows.

SUSTAINABILITY
Targeted Spray Benefits
See & Spray Gen 2 delivers a targeted spray to weeds, applying herbicide only where needed. Plus, our ExactApply and INC Pro nozzle control technology helps reduce potential drift.
See & Spray Gen 2 is available as both a single or dual-product option. Dual-product systems include the following benefits:

PROFITABILITY
Make Two Passes in One
In place of the single tank, you can choose an optional dual-tank configuration that lets you apply targeted spray and traditional broadcast at the same time, combining two passes in one to save you time and money. Target spray weeds and broadcast fungicide or better manage weeds by applying a non-residual targeted spray and residual broadcast, all in one pass.

COST EFFICIENCY
Apply Only When Needed
Use targeted spraying to kill weeds at a lower cost by applying only what you need — when and where you need it. Or, with the dual-tank capability of See & Spray, use different chemical mixes independently of each other and at different target rates — all on the same pass. Plus, the amount of herbicide saved during targeted spraying can be used for a second and third pass during the growing season to address weed control all season long.

UNCOMPROMISED SPRAY QUALITY
Get Advanced Boom Control
BoomTrac™ keeps the tip of the boom within 10 in (254 cm) of the target boom height 95% of the time, supporting overall spray quality.4

STRONGER BOOM
Increased Durability and Corrosion Resistance
Carbon fiber is five times stronger than steel5, delivering the durability needed to maximize uptime without adding additional weight to the boom. It is combined with a truss-style design that is less susceptible to a single-point failure. Corrosion is also more avoidable with carbon fiber compared to other materials. In addition, the boom is painted during production and protects from the sun's UV rays as well as exposure to chemicals and fertilizer.

2Factory study comparing chemical usage between sprayers equipped with and without the ExactApply nozzle-control system. ExactApply is an optional feature and can reduce chemical usage from 2% to 5%. Individual results may vary.
3Results based on internal John Deere strip trials in corn, soybeans, and cotton in lowa, Mississippi, Texas, and Illinois, in typical growing conditions, with varying weed size, crop canopy, and field conditions, using targeted spray of non-residual herbicide only, and using current software/algorithm at time of trials. Results vary based on crop; for details see JohnDeere.com/SeeandSpray or JohnDeere.ca/SeeandSpray. Weed-control results based on dual-tank operation, adding an additional herbicide that could not be added to an existing herbicide mix in a single tank. Individual results will vary.
4Internal testing composite score over a variety of terrains. Operating within range measured at the tip of the boom. BoomTrac Ultimate tested on a John Deere 412R Sprayer with 120-ft (36.6-m) truss-style carbon fiber boom, NORAC installed on a John Deere 4 Series Sprayer with 120-ft (36.6-m) steel boom, and Raven AutoBoom XRT installed on a 4 Series Sprayer with 120-ft (36.6-m) steel boom. Data is based on factory-calibrated settings. Performance varies based on user-specified settings and adjustments.
