FlexGlide front caster suspension
FlexGlide front caster suspension allows the front tires to flex and absorb bumps from holes, rocks, and tree roots, without transferring impacts to the operator. Homeowners can mow faster, stay comfortable, and enjoy mowing instead of enduring it.
On R-Series models, the combination of FlexGlide™ caster suspension and a 24‑in. (61-cm) high back mechanical suspension seat work together to absorb impacts and cushion the operator’s core and feet. Unlike competitors’ solutions, caster and seat suspension keep the operator stable on moderate terrain while providing cushioning only when it is needed.

The R-Series Z500 ZTrak models feature an adjustable mechanical suspension with 3-in. (7.6-cm) of suspension travel. An adjustment knob at the front of the seat can be adjusted to suit the operator’s preference for the most comfortable ride. It is recommended to align the arrow on the dial with the operator’s weight.

Z500 ZTrak Mowers include a spacious foot platform that allows the operator to place their legs in a comfortable location. The M- and R-Series models include rubber mats and foot peg upgrades.
Rubber floor mat - A rubber floor mat upgrades styling while dampening vibration. A rubber floor mat is standard on Z530M and R-Series models, and optional on the Z515E model.
Rubber toe mat - A rubber toe mat extends the length of the floor mat to include the front toe board. It is standard on R-Series models and optional on Z515E and Z530M models.
Foot pegs - Foot pegs are secured to the toe board to provide additional foot-placement positions. The pegs also act as handles to remove and replace the foot platform. Foot pegs are standard on the R-Series models, and optional on the Z515E and Z530M models.

R-Series models include foot platform isolators that support the front of the foot platform. The isolators enhance appearance and work in conjunction with the rubber floor mat to reduce vibration on the operator’s feet and reduce rattles.

On Electric ZTrak Mowers the battery level, charging status, and hours are transmitted when the Equipment Mobile device is in range of the mower, and the mower is on or actively charging. Equipment Mobile can also update an Electric ZTrak Mower’s controller software.

The Power Flow chute is required, along with the high-performance Power Flow blower, to use the 2-bag Power Flow material collection system. The chute includes a convenient handle and a fill indicator that tells the operator when the bags are getting full.
One chute works with several vehicle applications. Trim lines on the chute are referenced in the instructions so the chute can be cut to the proper length for the vehicle/mower application.

Smart connector, wiring harness, and twist ties
One end of the wiring harness plugs into the back of the fuel gauge. The other ends plug into the smart connector and the tractor's wiring harness. The Z500 Mowers come with a dedicated connectivity connector, so the new wire harness is not needed.

String trimmer mount on Z515E
Main and secondary brackets
The string trimmer mounting kit is designed to carry a string strimmer on the machine. It is designed to fit most string trimmers with straight shafts. The main bracket fits over the right-side fender, and the secondary bracket mounts to the caster arm on the discharge side of the machine. Rubber straps are provided to secure the trimmer in place. The mount is not compatible with a complete material collection system.
Yard tool kit
The yard tool kit provides the ability to carry yard tools such as a rake or shovel on the machine.
Mounting bracket
The kit consists of one complete bracket and is designed to be mounted on the left side of the rear engine shroud and machine frame.

MulchControl puts the operator in control of the clippings.
While in the side discharge mode, MulchControl still mulches about one third of the material. Therefore, the side discharge mode is essentially a partial mulch mode. This can be an advantage when side discharging or bagging, as it helps to reduce the amount of material being discharged. Other times this could work as a disadvantage:
When bagging with MulchControl on a 48A or 54A Mower Deck, the MulchControl baffle can be opened or closed with the Power Flow™ blower installed. The Power Flow blower runs without material when the baffle is closed.
This MulchControl system is an optional field-installed attachment and includes everything needed for handle actuation: baffles, handle, and mulch blades. It’s compatible with S240 Lawn Tractor, model year 2016 and newer X300 and X500 Series Tractors, X700 Series Tractors, and Z300 and Z500 Series ZTrak Mowers equipped with a 48-in. (122-cm) Accel Deep (48A) Mower Deck.

Weight kit
The weight kit includes a weight bracket and four 18-lb (8.2-kg) weights for installation on the front of a Z500 Series ZTrak™ Mower. Quick-pull pins hold the weights securely in place while providing easy installation and removal.
NOTE: The weight kit components are also included in the 6.5-bu (229-L) rear bagger attachment.
